Trams will run more frequently on weekdays

Tram routes 1 and 3 will begin operating at 6-minute intervals on weekdays not only in the afternoon but also during the morning and midday periods. The most frequent service will start from approximately 07:00, whereas previously it was only available from the afternoon onwards.

At the same time, the timetables of feeder routes 41 and 81 will change to ensure the smoothest possible transfers between trams and buses. The timetables of other feeder routes will remain unchanged.

Changes to route 109 services

Morning services on school route 109 for Kaukajärvi will be reduced due to low passenger numbers.

In addition, afternoon services from Hermia to Kaukajärvi will be moved to earlier departure times. The timetable changes are intended to encourage pupils to use route 109 instead of the crowded route 8B for afternoon journeys. Route 109 is specifically designed for pupils travelling to and from schools in the Kaukajärvi area.
